Introduction

The Clan of Chaos is a group of renaissance enthusiasts that was founded in 1995. We attend many of the Texas based renaissance and fantasy festivals, and participate in an unofficial fashion. By appearing in our massive and boisterous manner, we provide an atmosphere that continues in the reigning illusion of the surroundings that we are in.

Other than the Festivals that we attend, our activities include regular gatherings at pubs, public appearances, and many social inter-action events, both period and non-period. We have shown up in malls for selected movies, period, and cultural festivals, and have even thrown our own Renaissance Masque, a New Years Celebration.

Being as large a group as we are, it is important to us that we present as positive an image as possible. To that end, we have assigned duties to individuals to assist us in the work that needs to be done. From an appointed chief of the districts, to people who respond to the rumors and assist in maintaining our public image. Though we have people in positions of office, there are no leaders per se in chaos. We are all equal to each other; we all unite under one banner, one cause, and one name, Chaos.
