Important Guidelines for Chaos Members
as ratified on 10-27-2010
Chaos will not take responsibility for your personal choices. (If you do some dumb-shit thing we will not bail you out!) Complaints will be addressed by the governing warlord, or (an) officer (s) of the Warlord's choosing. Refrain from bringing domestic problems, etc with you, leave them at home. Talk things out; if you need help, a mediator can be requested and its necessity will be considered. Chaos will only become involved in Chaos-related issues. The group will not be held responsible for any judgments passed down to you from up top nor held responsible for any outer problems you create or try to bring into the group.
In a Tribunal situation, anyone who has a complaint filed against them will be given the opportunity for rebuttal, and the chance to face their accuser. In the event that the complainant does not step forward to address/support their claim, the complaint will be dismissed and will not be heard again. Both parties will be required to state their case before the tribunal and one another, in open forum. A reasonable attempt will be made to accommodate the schedule of all parties, however only a valid emergency related reason will be accepted for their absence. In the event of an absence that is not emergency related, the one who fails to step forward will forfeit their position in the argument, and may be judged in absentia. Rules for engagement of the tribunal will be discussed at the beginning of each proceeding. These will be enforced by officers of the Warlord"s discretion. The Warlord of each Kingdom will decide what is a Tribunal situation in his/her kingdom.
Members of Chaos should be observant of the younger members of our camp where behaviors of an Adult nature are concerned. After 9:00p.m. camp local time, debauchery is possible. Parents who wish to protect their children from such displays as have been known to happen in the past, should take precautions to ensure that they have removed their children to an age appropriate area before 9:00 p.m. that evening. Depending on the activities of the evening there may be a weekend decision regarding this policy. Parents will not leave their minor children unattended and unsupervised in camp. We are not babysitters. Children in camp are expected to be respectful in their behavior or they will not be allowed in camp. By the same token, stumbling drunk and/or nude into someone's personal camping space and causing a problem is the fault of the intruder, not the parent who thought their children were safe within their own camp. Both parties need to take precautions so that a problem does not arise.
There are four leaders in CHAOS and four Kingdoms. Each is independent and co-dependent at the same time. All four Kingdoms are equal in power and structure. Any of the Warlords may quit or step down but, they cannot be voted out unless voted out by each of the other three Warlords. Otherwise they are there until death. The four Warlords run their Kingdoms however they see fit and apply whatever guidelines best suit their Kingdoms. They converse at times on decisions concerning group matters. They also may have councils and advisers, if they choose. They have the power to hire and fire at will. They do not have to ask for another Warlords permission to kick someone out of their Kingdom. Each Warlord may appoint positions and/or titles to members of their kingdom as he/she sees fit. The authority that goes with each of those positions and/or titles will be determined by the Warlord of that kingdom.
Group capacity is up to what it can handle. The group has possibilities of 1000 members nationwide.
Newly inducted members should be welcomed as members of our family. They were approved by the governing Warlord in their area. It is up to that Warlord only to decide whether or not potential members fit the "image" of Chaos or not. If potential/new inductees have broken one of the Guidelines or Declaration, report it to the Warlord or his/her designated person; otherwise, shut up and get over it. All points described above, and the severity of their implied punitive retribution, is discretionary upon the ultimate decision from the presiding Warlord.
